Depends: Use of tourniquet during surgery for knee scopes is variable, can be surgery and surgeon dependent. Will depend on what the surgery is for, as long as there is good visualization during the arthroscopy then a tourniquet may not be needed. But there is no one right answer for this.

Tourniquet: This is usually surgeon's preference. For bigger cases (e.g. Acl reconstruction) i tend to use a tourniquet unless there are preexisting risk factors for blood clots and bleeding disorders. A typical knee scope does not usually have a tourniquet applied.
