No: Gastric by pass to reduce weight requires a lot of displinenary approach and involved many physician and nutritional and psychologist support. There are many complications associated with this surgery afterward. Try not to use as easy fix solution. One of my patient wish that she never had this surgery. Because now she had so much complications & need redo surgery after 5 years of many problems.
