Get evaluated soon: Yes, uncontrolled hypertension can cause several concerning symptoms. If blackouts are occurring, medical attention is needed asap. The risk for stroke, heart attack, congestive heart failure, aortic dissection are all emergencies that can be provoked by very high bp. There are excellent meds to lower bp, both in the acute phase in the hospital and as a routine outpatient med. Please get evaluated.
