What's normal?: The mode of taking a temperature is important, with oral or rectal most reliable. There is a range of normal temps. There are very few diseases that cause consistently low temperatures when measured accurately. True fevers, with temperatures above 100f or so, that persist or recur need to be evaluated by your pcp. Feeling hot or cold with normal temp can be caused by thyroid or other diseases.

Temperature: You are not specific as what is your usual temperature in fahrenheit numbers. The normal adult temperature is 98.6f +_0.5. Orally. The rectum and vaginal 1 degree higher & armpit 1degree less. If your temp is less, then look for thyroid & if higher the check for infection. Thanks.
