A member asked:

After antibiotic treatment, how long before a spider bite will go away?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Different spiders cause different reactions. For less toxic spider bite, which are the most common, it usually takes 7-10 days. To decrease pain and swelling, I have found the use of orally administered steroids to lessen pain and swelling.
