Well: Well, Celexa (citalopram) very very rarely can cause weight gain. If it is the cause for the weight gain then yes you possibly will lose the weight but not without effort. It could also be that you gained weight because you felt better over all on the Celexa (citalopram) and feeling better led to eating more.
