A member asked:

Can they repair vocal cords once they're damaged?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If damaged by singing or yelling, rest and humidification can help, some ENT docs specialize in this area. If due to growths on the vocal cord, the ear nose and throat doc can shave them off with a blade or laser.
