It is possible: It is possible. Itching can result from any inflammatory process. Mrsa certainly can cause inflammation. However, it is not a primary symptom.

No, it shouldn't: Infection with MRSA shouldn't cause itching. It more likely causes pain and discomfort.However, if you have an itchy rash caused by something else, too much scratching of your of skin can increase risk of infection by bacteria such as staph or even mrsa.Mrsa itself is not the reason for the itch.People that are carriers for MRSA also don't experience itching usually.Hope this helps!
