No.: Any pregnancy test done on a patient with a Mirena (levonorgestrel) should be negative. If you have a positive test, you need to see your doctor right away, to see if you are pregnant with the iud in place. There is a high risk of ectopic pregnancy when one conceives w/mirena in place. There are other, very uncommon causes of + HCG test, but pregnancy is the first condition to be checked for.
