What to do if you peeled a scab off?

Protect it: If you want to reduce the potential scarring from skin injury, covering it with something like vaseline will protect it and minimize the hard scab that can form. If your current scab was peeled off then you may not have to do anything. Vaseline in this case may or may not do anything for you.
