what could a small lump in the side of my stomach mean?

Dr. Gebrehana Zebro (formerly Woldegiorgis)

Could be small: Epigastric hernia . If you do not have symptom , you do not have to worry . However , for confirmation or if it is something else , it is better to show it to your doc . Good luck.

Rib lump: It's hard to know what this is without seeing it. Often it can be a lipoma, a small fatty lump or a cyst especially if the lump is smooth and mobile.
