No health insurance: Federal, state & local governments have medical & dental options available for those w/o insurance. There are also non-governmental options, too. Also consider dental schools where budding dentists need to practice & learn. Check out some options i've collected at http://www.Alvinblin.Blogspot.Com/p/low-cost-medicaldentalpharmacy-options.Html.

Health Insurance: In most places in the U.S. It is very easy to get children on both health and dental insurance. There are federal, state, and local public health programs for this. I would bet in tennessee that there are dental clinics that would be available for your child.

Dentistry: Cases like your son is why dentistry worked on and advertized widely, with our dues, the need for preventive dentistry. At this point your only avenue will be to borrow the money or enlist the aid of social services.

Dental school..: ... Or treatment in a hospital residency program can lower some of the associated costs. Many of these problems could have been caught early on with regular dental check-ups... But you already know that. After your son restores his teeth, have him follow up twice a year with a dentist to maintain them and prevent further damage.

Obamacare: The options are as follows, see if your son will qualify for the dental component of Obamacare. There are no guarantees that the insurance provided by Obamacare will cover the treatment that you want, they may elect alternative treatment. A dental school and residency program offer discounted fees for treatment provided by supervised students and residents.

Low-cost dental care: Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Contact your state dental society to ask about low -cost dental care program in your area. Another source of low-cost dental care is a dental school clinic. Take care.
