Why does my healed broken foot ache still?

Foot pain: There are several possible reasons including: it is still not completely healed, it has healed but slightly out of alignment with the bones around it, you are developing post-traumatic arthritis around healed fracture area, or soft tissue in the area was also damaged.

Lasting damage: This could be due to the post-traumatic arthritis, nerve injury, as well as the bone fractures continue to heal internally for 1-2 years after the fracture, thus causing residual pain and discomfort.
