A member asked:

When gonorrhoea is been treated by a doctor, will it come back or is it gone forever?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gonorrhea: When being treated for gonorrhea it is important for the person as well as their partner to follow up with their physician, so they can make sure that both people are adequately treated. Resistance to antibiotics can result in a continued infection. If one's partner is not adequately treated then one can get it again from having sex with their partner.
