A member asked:

Is pataday for viral infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Pataday is a topical antihistamine type eye drop for allergic conjunctivitis to treat allergy symptoms in the eyes. Viral infections usually require anti-inflammatories and/or anti-viral treatments although most are self limited. Pataday may make your eye feel better but would not be the usual recommended treatment for a viral infection.
