Many Infections: Doxycycline and Flagyl (metronidazole) are antibiotics which can be used in the treatment of many different infections, most often caused by bacteria and/or protozoa. Metronidazole is particularly useful in the treatment of infections which may include anaerobics (live in environments without good oxygen supply). This combination may be used for treating sinus infections or stds for example.
