Can a knee injury make your ankle hurt?

Yes: Many times the joints above or below the level of injury can get sore. Since the ankle is 'downhill' from the knee, it may have swelling. Also, when you try to get pressure off of your knee, you put abnormal strain on your ankle.

Yes: Depending on injury and if it was inverted or exerted during truma it could effect ankle. What was diagnosis with knee?
