Dry mouth: If your mouth is dry, most likely you are breathing through your mouth. This may be due to nasal congestion which could explain the mucus. Rinse your nose with salt water mix in a neti pot a couple of hours before bed to clear your nasal airway. You may want to check with an ear, nose, throat md.
