Can : Alcohol can cause dilated cardiomyopathy with dilated heart and can cause anular dilatation and can cause mitral regurgitation. Once yoy recover from surgery, if your valve looks good with no leak can have social 1 glass of wine couple of times a week, if you are cleared by your cardiologist.
