Yes: Constipation is a common side effect of opioid meds like tramadol. Hard stools passing thru the rectal area can cause small amount of bleeding. Advise high fiber diet and adequate fluid intake, also update your doctor about your symptoms.

Yes: Constipation is the culprit however.....The ultram just started the whole process. Any bleeding from the rectum needs to be checked out by your doc however.
