HIV test: I'm sorry to hear that you've been waiting to find out the results of your test longer than you hoped. I suggest contacting your doctor's office again & explain your worry. Ask for one of the nurses or covering physicians to share the test results with you. Most likely your doctor is not being "rude" as dr. Killian says, but does have coverage in place when she's not in the office. Be well.

Try to be patient.: When i order an HIV test, i usually get the results back in a week. I don't know if they are sent out to a different facility to be run. I think people have come to expect medical treatment to be a bit like the mcdonald's drive through.
