See below: Your son may have strained a muscle earlier and had a acute exacerbation. Children are sometimes over exaggerate their symptoms. If he is not having any acute shortness of breath or difficulty breathing or irregular heartbeat i would watch it for now. As you said it has resolved now i would watch it. If this reoccurs i would take him to his pediatrician good luck thank you.
