Rarely: These are cysts of the cervix that are usually asymptomatic developing in the nabothian glands of the cervix. They are mostly small and may not cause problems with pregnancy but if large on colposcopy, where they can reach 10mm in size they may cause a problem. If large they can easily be cauterized in the office and any problems caused, such as with pregnancy, will be eliminated.
