A member asked:

Is the baby safe if breastfeeding from a breast that has a cyst?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally yes: The cyst itself is usually a benign issue competing for space with the milk producing glands. They are generally walled off and separate. They could interfere with the lacteals and might cause problems with flow. But arenot a risk to baby.
