Laxative Tea: Senna tea should not be used by pregnant women. It should not be used longer than 7 days. Prolonged used may cause liver problems.

s a product from the Philippines that is advertised as a weight loss product. It contains large amounts of senna. Potential side effects w senna may include rectal bleeding (black, tarry, malodorous stools), abdominal cramping & pain, nausea / vomiting, diarrhea, gas, brown urine & feeling lightheaded. Dehydration, reduced potassium levels, cardiac arrhythmia and kidney damage may occur.
