Do allergy shots make you gain weight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Allergy shots (immunotherapy) provide marked symptomatic benefit by inducing immunologic tolerance to the airborne allergens to which you have developed sensitivity. They do carry minimal inherent risk of local and systemic allergic reaction (because they contain what you are allergic to) but weight gain is not a reported reaction or side effect.
