Can a pregnant woman take out her teeth?

Yes: The best time in a pregnancy to have work done is your second trimester. However if you have an infected tooth you should have it removed just make sure the dentist knows you are pregnant and then they can use the best anesthetic (numbing agent) for you . You don't want an infected tooth getting out of control and then require antibiotics or more serious treatment.

ER visit: It is best to do all non emergency dental treatment in the 2nd and 3rd trimester or after the baby is born. Er dental treatment can be done at any time.
