After being treated for leaky gut syndrome, how long does it take to fully recover?

Leaky gut: The concept of "leaky gut" is not a medical diagnosis at this time. For scientists and gastroenterology experts, we consider the evidence of structures between intestinal cells -- called "tight junctions", shown to be compromised in poor health states such as inflammation or malnutrition. Emphasize eating a variety of fresh foods and general health maintenance to support the intestinal barrier.

Be careful here: I think that some illnesses feature hyperpermeability of the gut mucosa, but there are people out there who will attribute most-if-not-all disease to this entity, about which mainstream medicine remains skeptical. If you haven't recovered, perhaps your symptoms aren't due to "leaky gut" -- don't accept any suggestion that you are at fault for treatment failure.
