Read on: Gasx is an agent that breaks up gas bubbles while beano is an enzyme that digests a starch (in beans) that bacteria in the colon metabolize and make gas as a byproduct.

Gas: Beano has 150 galu (galactosidase units) of alpha-d-galactosidase derived from aspergillus niger mold. It contains enzymes that help to break down starches in beans. Gas-x contains simethicone which helps to reduce gas bubbles that are trapped in mucus.
