How long can a plantar's wart virus live on an inanimate object?

Very short: The answer may be an oversimplification. However, the general belief is that the plantar wart virus pretty much needs to be transmitted reasonably quickly person to person. Normal hygiene is usually enough to protect yourself. I believe that most transmittal is due to bad luck. Otherwise it is difficult to explain why one person gets them in a gym shower and the others don't.

Not sure: I found one article that said a long time and i found another article that said not long. If someone in your household has plantar warts, i would recommend everyone wear their own shoes and socks and keep floors and bathtub/showers cleaned with bleach like cleaners. I believe bleach would kill the virus.
