Is mucinex (guaifenesin) d safe to take daily?

Mucinex (guaifenesin) D: Hello, i often hear the very same question regarding daily decongestant usage. My opinion is that i would rather my patients use an intranasal steroid daily with plain Mucinex (guaifenesin) as needed. The pseudo fed used in the Mucinex (guaifenesin) d will cause an elevated heart rate, blood pressure changes, sleep cycle interruptions and finally it may cause urinary retention in men.So avoid the daily use of pseudo fed.
