LFT's: Low is good and it means the tumor has not effected the liver function.

LFT's are important: If lft's are elevated, it implies that a significant %age of the liver has been compromised. This can complicate surgery, chemo, or sbrt.

Good: That they are low, but not diagnostic......Ct/mri needed.

Not helpful: Liver function tests are not a reflection of whether a tumor is cancerous. In fact, someone could have several cancerous liver tumors and have completely normal liver tests. A biopsy is the correct way to make the diagnosis in this case.
