How do they seal off where they removed the appendix? do they burn it or stitch it? wats chance of a leak?

Variable : Usually this is with sutures or staples designed for that purpose. Chance of leak is very low, and should be less than 5% at most. Hope his helps!

Depends: I usually put in 2 ties around the base of the appendix. I have also used staples and sometimes bury the appendix in the wall of the bowel. Chance of a leak is small.
