It can: The most important issue facing you is how much and for how long. Depending on the status of the dental pulp before the debridement procedure, it could vary quite a bit. I usually tell people to expect 2 to 3 days of intermittent otc analgesic use but if it does not respond to those meds or lasts longer, they need to be seen and evaluated for additional treatment options. Talk to the dentist.
