I started takin monistat7 for a non intense vaginal itch.the vaginal itch has subsided within the 1st day.do i continue to complete treatment til day7?

YES: It is best to finish any course of meds but given this case of mild symptoms from beginning 5 days will be sufficient. I read all the other answers good but remember there is a Monistat 5 and even 1 day course, we usually pick length based on intensity of symptoms. If it seem an infection is quite severe we give a prolonged treatment if it is mild , shorter treatment. Your symptoms cleared quick.

Yes: Symptoms subsided means improvement not cure . There are millions of yeasts that can multiply and cause you the same symptoms with in days if you stop with out eradicating them.

Complete full course: Full steam ahead! Monistat 7 was intended to be used for a full 7 days so just because your symptoms are improved does not mean to stray from the course. Great to hear you are better but finish the medication to decrease the risk of returning infection.
