Why do that? : If you already have a birth-control implant then there is no benefit to also taking a birth control pill. That does not increase the effectiveness of either method and it exposes you to more hormones. This is not a good idea.

2nd method: In addition to dr. Livingston's excellent answer: please consider the use of an extra type of birth control method. Instead of more hormones, consider a barrier method like condoms, or a spermicide gel. That way you can still improve your odds and avoid the extra hormones. Using two different forms of birth control is common in japan, where unplanned pregnancies are less common.
