Yes..: Many over the counter products such as vagisil, vagistat1, Monistat etc..Can be quite effect..If that is the correct diagnosis. If doing it right for the correct diagnosis, your symptoms should subside quite promptly. If not, please consult your doc asap because some STDs can present like a yeast infection, but treatments are different.. Good luck.

Yeast infections: The sooner, the better, as long as, based on prior symptoms, you feel sure of the diagnosis. There is generally no harm that can come from using an anti-fungal cream for yeast if you turn out actually not to have a yeast infection. The sooner you start treatment the faster you get relief of symptoms and prevent worse symptoms from the infection.
