This nonproductive cough could be an asthma equivalent ( without the wheezing). In view of history of TB you have to be cautious of using any form of corticosteroids although one study in children with positive TB skin tests showed no problem with the inhaled form. If symptoms persist you'd be best served by consulting a pulmonologist.
