Difficult situation: This is a difficult situation. You should first work with your doctors to treat the most easily defined illness first. That is the cold. When that is treated you will at least get rid of some of those symptoms. We all know that fevers and chillls magnify everything else. Then once that is treated, you need to check with your spine/neurosurgeon to make sure the stenosis is not treatable with surgery.

Head cold will: Go away . What to do with spinal stenosis and fibromyalgia . Be evaluated by your pcp and neurologist . They may send you for physical therapy . Graded exercise particularly that is done in the water is useful . There are good medicine like Cymbalta (duloxetine) that helps with pain , fibromyalgia and depression . Good luck.
