Difficult situation: This is a difficult situation. You should first work with your doctors to treat the most easily defined illness first. That is the cold. When that is treated you will at least get rid of some of those symptoms. We all know that fevers and chillls magnify everything else. Then once that is treated, you need to check with your spine/neurosurgeon to make sure the stenosis is not treatable with surgery.
