May be normal: Braxton-hicks contractions are common and can occur throughout pregnancy. Usually they are irregular and as you note painless. However, especially later on, some pain can be felt. It can also get hard to distinguish between these and preterm labor. So if they continue or increase, or if the pain stays or any other symptoms, be seen sooner rather than later. You should be seen about every 1-2 weeks.
