URI (common cold): Most likely, you're reporting symptoms of an upper respiratory illness (uri), otherwise known as the common cold, which will not respond to antibiotics. In other words, whether you take antibiotics or not, your illness will last same amount of time. However, if you feel short of breath eg tight chest, go see your doc as you may also have bronchospasm or reactive airway & need albuterol or similar.
