Ovulation: Ovulation occurs 14 days prior to starting your period. So if you have a 30 day cycle your probable day of ovulation will be on day 16 from the first day of your menses.

Varies: If you have regular cycles, then you ovulate about the same time in each cycle and is easy to predict about when you will ovulate.. You will always ovulate 14 days before your period. So if your cycle length is 26 days, you ovulate 12 days after the first day of your period. If your cycle length is 30 days, you ovulate 16 days after cycle day one, etc.
