What if you know your lmp (which is regular 28 day cycle) but doctors change edd going by first ultrasound. why, did i ovulate later or what??

"Guesstimation": Your EDD is a "estimated date of delivery" and is based upon several factors including LMP, first ultrasound, etc. Yes, it is a "guesstimation" which is only accurate plus or minus 2 weeks. Ovulation dates have nothing to do within it.

Ultrasound Due date: The EDD is just that. Actually ony about 5% deliver on the EDD. If the ultrasound is done and the date is way off, the EDD is changed from the LMP EDD. Because sometimes a woman doesn't ovulate regularly, it is possible the pregnancy doesn't start for several months after the LMP, so the Ultrasound is used if the date seems way off. This test is more reliable in early pregnancy.
