It doesnt happen: It doesnt happen to everyone. You could have an autoimmune disease known as hashimotos thyroiditis, or something else. You could have two coinciding thyroid illnesses one being graves disease with hashimotos. You could also have just a dysregulation of your autoimmune system. See your physician and eventually an endocrinologist for appropriate treatment.
