No evidence so far: No evidence hpv virus causes breast cancer in all available studies , its association in breast cancer patients is purely coincidence as as so many woman have hpv virus infections.

Shown: Hpv has been detected in some breast cancer tissue but nothing has shown that it is the cause of it. It may however, play a role in contributing to its development or recurrence but it has not shown to cause it.
