Joint Pain: Is the pain on one side or both? If only one side i would suspect a wrist strain or sprain try to find out what happened to that wrist. Carefully review her physical activities. A rest and a anti inflammatory drug like Ibuprofen will give relief. If the pain persists or worsens she need to be seen by her primary care doctor.

JOINT PAIN: If there is no swelling, redness of the area, joint stiffness, no associated fever, not to worry. May be she is overusing the joint. If concerns, take her to her pediatrician during the episode, the doctor may order some labs.
