Yes: Crossed eye can be caused by accomodation or by eye muscle problems. Accomodative causes can sometimes be fixed with glasses. Surgery on the eye muscles can move them so that the crossed eyes are straight.

They can be fixed: If this is not correctable with appropriate vision correction then surgery can be useful. You need to see an eye md/do who isexperienced with these problems.
