Depends on height: I can't stress enough that overall healthy habits (not smoking, physical inactivity, heart disease, etc.) are often shown to be more important than absolute weight. "average" weight is based on height, so without knowing your height, this is tough to answer. You might search for a "bmi calculator" online to enter your height and weight to see if you are considered "average' weight.
