Myocardial infarctio: Usual symptom is unrelenting substernal chest pain with shortness of breath, perhaps lightheaded and nausea. If patient gets promptly to medical care, aspirin, beta blocker, perhaps other platelet inhibitor or thrombolytic agent and other meds; if interventional capable center may rapidly go to cath lab for diagnosis and possible interventional procedure.
