Why would a child have to urinate every hour anatomical problem?

Usually not: My first question is- can the child sleep all night without wetting or getting up multiple times? If he can sleep all night, it is unlikely that there is an anatomical problem. Some children go through a stage where they are very aware of their bladder and want to be sure to use every bathroom they see! If the amount of urine is small, that may be the cause. See his doctor to check it out.
